United Airlines Flight Change Policy 

Prior to Covid, changing united flight used to be a bit expensive as the airlines used to charge a change fee of $50-$100 if the changes were made after 24 hours of booking. However, things have changed now. Since travel plans are highly erratic these days, airline’s have now waived off the change fee on all types of tickets and for flights between US, Mexico and Caribbean.

As per the recent updates in united airlines flight change policy, no fee will be charged for making one time change in your economy and premium cabin class flight ticket. You can easily change the date, passenger name, contact number, destination or departure place without any fee. However, in case of Basic economy class ticket, change fee is waived only on the tickets that were booked before 31 December 2021 and scheduled to have a departure before 31 December 2021.

How to Change United Airlines Flight Online?

1. Go through the website of united airlines or visit the united airlines app.
2. Then jump on to manage my trip section and fill-in your e-ticket number and last name to view your booking.
3. Next, select the flight that you wish to make changes in and tap on edit tab if any changes are to be done in the passenger credentials.
4. And if any changes are to be done in the flight date, or destination or departure place, then hit the change button.
5. Thereafter, you just have to provide the new travel requirements, select the fare type, enter the passenger details and pay the difference arising out of course of change in ticket and then confirm your payment.
